A 3-Ton Mini Excavator on a Hyperscale Data Centre Site at SILC, Iskandar Puteri
Not every job on a 200-acre site needs a 20-ton machine. Some of it only a small one can reach.

Project Overview
SILC 3, inside i-TechValley in Iskandar Puteri, is the site of a hyperscale data centre campus being built out by China State Construction Engineering (M) Sdn Bhd. Green City Machinery supplies a 3-ton mini excavator with our own operator to CSCEC on that site.
One machine, on a campus measured in hundreds of acres. That is the point of it.
A hyperscale build is not only bulk earthwork. Once the structures go up, a large part of the remaining work happens in places a 20-ton machine cannot reach or cannot enter safely: internal service trenches, pipework under and between completed slabs, backfilling in confined bays, and tidying up around finished works. A 3-ton mini excavator on rubber tracks goes where the big machines have to stop, and does it without tearing up the ground it drives over.
When the same site needs reach or volume instead, our 20-ton excavators and tipper lorries work data centre sites across Iskandar Puteri.

Why a 3-Ton Machine on a Hyperscale Site
Small machine, specific job. Here is where it earns its place.
1 × 3-Ton Mini Excavator
Rubber tracks, compact tail, and a machine narrow enough to work between and under completed structures. Supplied with our own operator.
Bigger Machines on the Same Sites
When the work needs reach or volume instead of access, our 12, 20 and 40-ton excavators run data centre earthworks across Iskandar Puteri.

The Challenge
A hyperscale campus is huge, but the work does not stay huge. As structures top out, more and more of what is left is small, awkward and close to finished work: service trenches inside buildings, pipework between slabs, backfilling in bays with no room to swing. Bring a 20-ton machine to that and you either cannot reach it or you damage what is already built.
The Result
One operated 3-ton machine covering the confined-access work on an active hyperscale data centre site, without disturbing completed works.
