Project Overview
Alliance JX Construction Sdn Bhd is working a housing development at Bandar Jaya Putra in Mukim Tebrau, Johor Bahru. Green City Machinery supplied the 20-ton short arm excavator on that job.
Twenty tons with a short arm is a deliberate pairing for residential ground. The weight gives the breakout force to work Johor’s hard laterite without stalling on it, which is where lighter machines lose their day. The short arm keeps the working radius tight, so the machine can operate close to plot boundaries, existing roads and completed units without swinging over things it should not.
Where a plot is tighter still, or the work moves inside completed structures, a 3-ton mini excavator takes over. Where it needs depth beyond a standard boom, the long arm does. Same yard, same account.

The Challenge
A housing plot gives you hard ground and no room. The soil needs a machine with real breakout force, but the site has boundaries, live access roads, service runs and often completed units close by. Bring too little machine and it cannot work the ground. Bring too much reach and it cannot swing without going somewhere it should not.
The Result
