Project Overview
A hyperscale data centre development at Gelang Patah runs its work in packages, each held by a different specialist contractor under the project’s main contractor. SKWawasan holds the sewerage and underground infrastructure package on that site.
Green City Machinery supplied SKWawasan with a backhoe loader for the excavation, trenching and backfilling that package needed.
This one is worth spelling out, because it is how most machinery actually gets onto a big site. GCM did not do the sewerage works. SKWawasan did. We supplied the machine they used to do it.
A lot of contractors assume plant on a data centre site has to come through the main contractor. It does not. If you hold a package, you can hire directly from us, on your own programme, without waiting for anyone above you to arrange it.
